Tyrannosaurus Rex had a large area in it's brain for processing smells.
Their tails were very heavy and strong and used for counterbalancing their massive heads, for agility and for making quick turns when on the prowl or in combat. The rear part of the tail was stiffened by interlocking vertebral zygopophyses (interlocking bony structures projecting forwards and backwards from the neural arches, interlocking one vertebra into another).
