Xenotarsosaurus

Xenotarsosaurus (zeen-oh-TAR-soh-SAWR-us) bonapartei is a little-understood abelisaurid theropod that lived during the Late Cretaceous (Campanian and Maastrichtian). It was described by Martinez, Gimenez, Rodriguez and Bochatey in 1987. It's possible it could reach weights between 0.7 - 1.0 tons.

Xenotarsosaurus (meaning "strange-ankle lizard") was a medium-sized theropodthat lived 83 to 73 million years ago. It was a bipedal meat-eater. Xenotarsosaurus is known from only a few fossilized vertebrae and hind-leg bones found in Argentina, South America. The type species is X. bonapartei.
