Naashoibitosaurus

Naashoibitosaurus (nah-ah-sho-ee-BEE-to-SAWR-us) ostromi is a hadrosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Kirtland Formation of the San Juan Basin in New Mexico U.S.A.

The species is estimated to be about 10 metres long, but only a partial skull was found, and is now located in the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. This hadrosaur (duck-billed dinosaur) was about 30 ft (10 metres) long. A fossil (only a skull) has been found in New Mexico, USA. Naashoibitosaurus was named by Hunt and Lucas in 1993. The type species is N. ostromi. Naashoibitosaurus may be a variant of Kritosaurus.
